About Us

The story of Safar-E-Kahwah begins long before the company’s official launch. It started in 2014, at the Islamic Center of Manteca, where we both met for the first time, with a shared love for photography, videography, and coffee. We quickly discovered a deep connection — our passions aligned, and our friendship blossomed over hours spent capturing life’s moments through their lenses and sharing countless cups of coffee.

From Manteca to where we are today, the journey has been one of creativity, collaboration, and a shared vision to bring the art of coffee to the world. Safar-E-Kahwah is a reflection of that friendship — a celebration of culture, connection, and the belief that coffee is more than just a drink; it’s a way to bring people together.

At Safar-E-Kahwah, every cup tells a story. And behind every story is a friendship that turned a shared dream into reality. Together, we invite you to join us on this journey, one sip at a time.

“Coffee is uniquely traceable down to the hands that picked it, it carries within it a rich cultural and Islamic history. I believe coffee has the ability to bring people closer together, fostering connections through its shared journey from farm to cup.”

Omar Hassen, Co-Founder/Creative Director

“Coffee, like life, is a journey of discovery, filled with rich flavors, vibrant cultures, and unforgettable moments. From a childhood in San Jose to the daily aromatic rituals of Eritrean buna, my passion for photography led to my appreciation for the art of coffee.”
